Meet the Founder
From the budding ages of childhood, Anson Lau, owner and creator of Vivë Auto Detailing, who was first exposed to the automotive world at an early age in Sabah, Malaysia, where he grew up. His father, Paul, a passionate car enthusiast and key influencer helped shaped Lau’s hobby into a lifelong pursuit.
He adopted and expounded on his father’s love of detail and obsession, relentlessly pursuing precision in excellence. In preparation of his career, he matriculated and graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and a minor in Entrepreneurship in 2011. Much insight was garnered from his college education, thus Anson always strives for customer service and satisfaction, which continues to be the focal point of his mission.
What began as merely a hobby in his household garage grew exponentially from a part-time trade to a lifelong pursuit. Since his first high performance car, a Nissan 350Z to a Lexus IS-F, he has crafted his passion into every facet of the vehicle, from car performance to flawless paint finishing. His collection expanded to include a rare Nismo S-Tune R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R , 2013 Nissan GT-R. Improving upon perfection became his aim and mission, not only for his own cars, but all cars.
Anson has traveled across the world – Italy, London, Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Singapore – to conduct extensive research and work closely with industry leaders. He and his team of trained professionals have provided service on a great number of show cars that have entered and placed first in the world’s most esteemed automobile Concours d’Elegance competitions. His services have gained prestige in Houston, TX as the ultimate provider of car appearance and high end detailing treatment.
Aside from growing his business, Anson plays the drums professionally and enjoys being active through weight lifting, training in Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai.Vivë Auto Detailing upholds the mission for “Discovering Unsurpassed Perfection” with great reverence , alike the creation of art masteries, using only the best and finest car care refinement products to gloss the surface of each automobile.
